Register Equipment & Schema

The first step is to register your company’s equipment—typically your bioreactors. If you have multiple bioreactors, we strongly recommend adding each one to ensure comprehensive data organization. This will streamline dataset management, making it easier to monitor and analyze all your bioprocess data in one cohesive platform. Taking the time now to register all available bioreactors will set you up for smooth, efficient operations as you move forward.

If this is your first time registering equipment, you’ll need to start by creating an equipment type. To do this, navigate to the "Equipment" page within the BioReact dashboard and select "Register Equipment". This will open the equipment registration form. In the "Equipment Type" section, click the dropdown and choose "Create New Equipment Type".

Now that you're ready to register an equipment type, simply enter the Manufacturer, Model, and Version of your equipment. This information will be essential for identifying and organizing datasets associated with each piece of registered equipment, making it easier to track and manage data across all devices.

Now that you’ve created an equipment type, you’re ready to add your equipment. To begin the registration process, you’ll need the following information:

  • Equipment Name

  • Description

  • Equipment Type

  • Sample Dataset

Having these details on hand will ensure a smooth and efficient registration of your equipment, allowing you to start organizing your datasets right away.

Once you've completed the equipment registration form, the next step is to submit your sample data file. This should be a bioprocess dataset generated by your bioreactor, and it must be in CSV format to ensure it’s properly processed. Providing this data will help us link your equipment to the relevant datasets, enabling seamless integration into the BioReact platform.

After selecting your sample data file, click "Register Equipment" to complete the process. In the next section, we’ll guide you through creating a schema to organize and structure your data effectively.
